With more than 35 years in tax and accounting, Nadine brings deep technical expertise and the kind of judgment that only comes with experience. Her career began at Price Waterhouse in New York and later brought her to South Florida, where she served as Controller for the Archdiocese of Miami’s Education Foundation.

Nadine earned her Master’s in Taxation from Florida International University and established her own CPA firm in 2007. Today, she leads Bright Tax with her children, Kat and Jason, bringing two generations of experience and perspective to a practice built on financial literacy, personal service, and relationships that last.

Kat is an IRS Enrolled Agent with experience spanning tax, bookkeeping, financial reporting, business, and education. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and her MBA from Louisiana State University, graduating magna cum laude.

A natural educator and storyteller, Kat has contributed financial education and editorial content to the Intuit TurboTax Blog and has experience helping entrepreneurs and small businesses strengthen their financial practices. At Bright Tax, she helps clients understand not just what their numbers say, but what to do with them.

Jason brings decades of experience across business, accounting, insurance, and real estate. He studied accounting at the University of South Florida, where he was initiated into the Pi Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Following in a family tradition that began with his mother at Price Waterhouse, Jason went on to work at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Capital One before expanding his career across social services, health insurance, and real estate development.

A licensed insurance agent and investor, Jason brings a practical understanding of financial decisions, risk, opportunity, and long-term value to his work. At Bright Tax, he focuses on new business and client success, with a particular interest in affordable housing and community-focused development.
